Who is Robin Riback?
I am a writer who constantly toggles between creativity and logic. I bridge language with experience by creating colorful narratives that clarify complex concepts.
I graduated from Rutgers University, Douglass College, with a BA in English, where I became a lifelong fan of Russian and modernist authors such as Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Gertrude Stein, James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, T.S. Eliot, and Adrienne Rich, to name just a few.
In the 1990s, my gravitation toward the dramatic attracted me to improv and stand-up comedy, where I created quirky characters for my comedy scripts. At that time, I also played various roles in several off-off-Broadway productions while managing data and writing. I multitasked before that was a thing!
Logic and creativity are my counterbalances and so my professional path led me to a fulfilling data management and technical writing career.
Today, I pursue my interests as a creative and technical writer who can convey complex concepts to tell compelling stories.
I currently live in New York, and my varied interests include learning from business experts and thought leaders; modern and contemporary literature, poetry, and theater.
Follow me on:
“I have translated technology into well-written and user-friendly information for over 20 years, and I’ve converted thoughts and imagery to poetry and prose for nearly my entire life!”
